Elections to PDC Sheridan County Courthouse November 16-20, 2009 All residents of Sheridan County and of legal voting age are eligible to vote for the representatives of the 24 member Sheridan County Extension Council. You do not need to be a regular "Extension user" or a member of any organization in order to vote. As a taxpayer, you are involved with the County Extension program. Annually, three positions on each committee are open for election, each serving a two-year term. Eligible voters in Extension Council elections are any citizens of legal voting age residing in the county. Ballots are available at the Extension office from November 16 – 20, 2009. Ballots shall be cast at the courthouse unless you request a mailed copy. Ballots mailed must be postmarked by November 20, 2009, or returned to the Extension office by 5:00 p.m. November 20, 2009, in a sealed envelope. (929 9th Street, P. O. Box 107, Hoxie KS 67740-0107)
